Piano Accompaniment for Rochut (Bordogni)

(Tenor Clef, too!)

Bored with Bordogni?

Reluctant to rehearse Rochut?

Well...shame on you.

The famous Melodious Etudes by Marco Bordogni- collected, compiled, and edited by Joannes Rochut

are famous for a REASON:

These are beautifully melodic etudes that mimic a vocal style and give us a chance to practice real lyricism and affective phrasing. This is where "the rubber meets the road". This is where we literally perfect the Jacobs' concept of Song and Wind.

In case they've lost their sparkle for you, though, we invite you to practice/perform them in a new way........as ACCOMPANIED solos!

Quicktime, Windows Media player, and any other sound-file software should play these MIDI files. What we recommend is a visit to

hitsquad.com

In their ShareWare Music Machine section, you might find a nice, FREE midi-player that allows for changing keys, tempo, etc.

In fact, if you use a Notation program like Finale, Sibelius, Encore, etc., you can open these MIDI files through that software to do edits of your own. Play with a string orchestra, brass choir, guitars, etc.

Have fun! Play beautifully and mimic the human voice.........play great LINES.

These are all from Book #1:

Don't forget to try these down an octave, too. (It's a great way to start your day)

 Etude #3  Etude #7 (1 intro mm.)  Etude #11 (1 intro mm.)
Etude #4 (1 extra mm. before 'dolce')  Etude #8  Etude #12
 Etude #5 (1 extra mm. before 'recap')  Etude #9  Etude#13 ( 1 intro mm.)
 Etude #6  Etude #10 (2 intro mm.)  Etude #14

And for those of you learning Tenor Clef:

These etudes are ideal for tenor clef transposition. Just subtract a flat (or add a sharp) to the key signature and read as if they were written in tenor clef.

Here are the accomp. parts in tenor clef:

 Etude #3  Etude #7 (1 intro mm.)  Etude #11 (1 intro mm.)
Etude #4 (1 extra mm. before 'dolce')  Etude #8  Etude #12
 Etude #5 (1 extra mm. before 'recap')  Etude #9  Etude#13 ( 1 intro mm.)
 Etude #6  Etude #10 (2 intro mm.)  Etude #14
